A Tree of Thanks-offerings

Offering Thanks-living

Stumbling daily along this crazy, wild path to live love-, grace-, and thanks-filled lives, we gratefully tripped upon the profound writings of one grace-gifted writer and real, transparent blogger. And we were challenged. Are you familiar with her musings? Ann Voskamp writes openly of her own imperfections and daily call to live out her salvation tangibly. Summoned with inspiration based on a simply profound thanksgiving activity found on her blog here,  http://www.aholyexperience.com/
we are displaying our thanks-living with a stolen new tradition that transforms mood/spirit/attitude/life.

The joy found in reading their gratefulness is astounding. Chosen to be their mom?  Amazing grace, indeed.

The "tree" was placed in an old, heirloom pottery vessel that once gracefully adorned my grandmother's table. Ironically, the wear from years of use which remove monetary worth actually increase its value.  Reminding of His choice to use old vessels to His own glory. Only He can transform into something worthwhile.

The exercise of searching for treasure along the path, the humbling as pens clumsily scratch out more joy than can be counted, the memories made, all of this and more, transformed bare branches to an offering of thanks-living to Him who is worthy of all Thanksgiving.
